Dog Breed Info

The Plott Hound is loyal, intelligent and affectionate with children and family. He is a mighty hunter of wild boars and bears. This dog has a great sense of smell. He is a dominant and aggressive hunter with great strength and determination. That means that if you want a Plott as a pet, you must train him since puppyhood in order to enjoy a well-behaved pet.

He can live with other pets in the house, if he is introduced to them during his puppyhood. This breed is recommended for families with children who can understand and interact with him. This breed is not recommended for shy people who have no experience with dogs because of his persuasive nature.

His barking is very loud, so your neighbors will not be so happy having him around. This breed is a good choice for a family who can satisfy their physical and mental needs in order to live a happy and healthy life.
